12 Maintenance, cleaning and disinfection
IMPORTANT
Digital SmartHandles MUST not come into contact with oil, grease, paint or
acids.
IMPORTANT
SmartHandles can be damaged if you use unsuitable or aggressive clean-
ing agents or disinfectants.
If you need to clean SmartHandle, use a soft cloth, dampening it if neces-
sary.
If you wish to disinfect SmartHandle, you may only use disinfectant which is
specifically designated for use on delicate metal surfaces and composites.
You must always replace empty batteries with new ones approved for use
by SimonsVoss. Dispose of old batteries in the proper manner.
