Driving with Live — Invitations
Using CoPilot Live’s Invitations, you can send a tracking number to friends and family via
e-mail so they can see where you are and communicate with you as you drive. Each e-mail
Invitation — similar to an e-card — contains a link to the ALK Live Web page, a tracking
number, and an invitation to the recipient to log on to the ALK Live Network. (To see an
Invitation, try sending yourself one using the instructions below.)
Only those who have access to your tracking number can see you and send/receive messages
on the Web. CoPilot gives you the option to turn off any tracking number you send so that
it becomes invalid after a specified number of days. For the recipient of an Invitation to see
you, both of you must have an internet connection and you must be using CoPilot and
receiving GPS signals in your vehicle.
