COMPLETING the Configuration
Now click at MD-01 parameters / Ports and check if the screen as below, USB COM or
ETHERNET State must be “ON” but not both.
The Baud setting for the USB COM port is normally set to 460800. If the USB COM
port is to be used in normal operation and the control program used in normal opera-
tion uses a different baud rate, then the setting on the screen below will need to
be changed to match. When the settings are uploaded to the MD-01/02 controller,
communications between the setup program below and the MD-01/02 controller will
stop. It is best to restart the PC setup program, as described in section 3.3.1,
this time using the new baud rate.
If the setup is correct and the spidMD01dde.exe ( ** this name may change) program
is properly connected to the MD-01/02 controller the upper right display on the PC
will synchronize with the display on the MD-01.
