9.2 Counters and self-verification
Press-Right can be set up so that, at fixed intervals, the tool must be replaced, the transducers
calibrated and the self-verification system monitored. The self-verification function is described in
chapter 4.13.
9.3 Manual cylinder movement
It allows the manual handling of the press.
ENABLE MOTION KEYS
With this command, the arrow keys may be used to move the cylinder. In manual motion mode,
the first section iS operated very slowly, then the speed increases. If the cylinder is under stress,
the speed will be limited.
GO TO POSITION
With this command, it is possible to move the cylinder to a known position.
GO TO GREASING POSITION
With this command, the cylinder is lowered to the greasing section. Make sure that the cylinder
is free to move forward.
START TOUCHING
With this command, the cylinder is lowered until it touches the piece. The feed rate and the
support strength is set in the cylinder configuration menu.
