6 The tolerance range
The tolerance range is used to monitor the curve and, as a result, it monitors the quality of the piece.
The range consists of two lines called upper edge and lower edge.
In order to classify the piece as good, the motion-force points representing the curve must not
appear above the upper edge or below the lower edge.
Figure 10 shows a curve referred to a good piece, since it is included between the two range edges.

Each edge consists of a sequence of dots connected by segments.
6.1 Create the range
In order to create a new range, use the command
CHANGE JOB > RANGE MANAGEMENT > CHANGE
RANGE
. If there is no range, confirmation is confirmed to create a new one (Figure 11). By selecting
YES, the graph shows a simple range (Figure 12) consisting of two dots for each edge. Now it is
possible to change the range (chapter 6.2).

6.2 Change the range
In order to change a range, use the command
CHANGE JOB > RANGE MANAGEMENT > CHANGE
RANGE
. When the two dots are moved, make sure not to switch the upper and lower ranges.
When changing the range, if the key is pressed the change range menu that includes the
following items:
