Search for apps
Need help finding an app? On the Start screen, swipe to the All apps list and in the search
box type the partial or full name of an app you have installed on your phone, then your
phone will find it.
To find an app you don't have installed, type in your search, then select
Search Store
below
the "No results for…" message. You'll get results for apps or games from the apps store that
match your search, as well as relevant music, movies and TV shows.
Search for files
To find a file on your phone, search using File Explorer. On the Start screen, swipe to the All
apps list and select
File Explorer

Recent
or
This Device,
to
search recent files or files across your entire device, then type your search in the search box.
