• Providing the Send button is not yellow (no send/save action required) all
viewed data is read from the CompactFlash card.
• Changes made
since a previous Send
are read from the relevant module, and
will reflect across all relevant screens, but will not take affect until Send is
clicked.
As-read Parameters
Capacity and bandwidth/modulation options plus frequency range, Tx/Rx
spacing, Tx high/low and Tx power limits are read from the CT connected RAC/
ODU (9500 MXC Node), Radio/ODU (9500 MXC Terminal).
It is not possible
to set parameters outside as-read limits.
Licensed Capacity
The 9500 MXC Node is capacity licensed for over-air (RAC) capacity. The
license is held on the CompactFlash card, which has a unique identity (license)
number.
The IDU ES is capacity licensed for Ethernet throughput. The base license is 50
Mbps, with 50 Mbps license increments to 200 Mbps. Like the Node, the license
is held on the CompactFlash card.
The IDU 20x is capacity licensed for over-air capacity from a base of 20xE1/
16xDS1. The license is held on the CompactFlash card.
Quick-entry to Other Screens
• Within module-based screens such as System Summary and Plug-ins, right
click on any module (Plug-in) to view a short menu of selected options.
Left-click a selection to go direct to the option.
• The options provide direct links to relevant screens, and in the System
Summary screen to a module renaming function.
• A Launch Remote option is included on LINKS (RACs and DAC 155oM)
providing there is an operational link to the remote end.
To return to the System Summary (previous) screen from other screens, click on
the <Back tab in the toolbar.
