DANGER!
Denotes an imminently dangerous situa-
tion which will result in fatal or serious in-

CAUTION!

which can result in minor or moderate in-

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These operating instructions describe a hand-
guided cordless hedge trimmer.
2.1
Intended use
The appliance is intended to remove thin branch-
es and new growth of hedges and bushes from
the ground. The user must stand firmly on the
ground (08).
The branches to be cut off should be not more
than 16 mm.
The hedge trimmer may be used only with the fol-
lowing components:

Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries – B50 Li,
Item No. 113559

Charging unit – C30 Li, item no. 113560 /
TC30 Li, item no. 113561
This appliance is intended solely for use in non-
commercial applications. Any other use (as well
as unauthorised conversions or add-ons) are re-
garded as contrary to the intended use and will
result in exclusion of the warranty as well as loss
of conformity (CE mark); the manufacturer will
thus decline any responsibility for damage and/or
injury suffered by the user or third parties.
2.2
Possible foreseeable misuse

The safety devices are not allowed to be re-
moved or defeated, e.g. by attaching the On/
Off Switch to the grip bars.
■
Do not use the appliance in an explosion risk
area.
■
Do not use the appliance in rainy weather.
■
Do not use the appliance for trimming wet
hedges and bushes.
The appliance is designed neither for commercial
use in public parks and sports facilities, nor for
use in farming and forestry.
