5. SELECTION OF THE AIR-CONDITIONING MODE
You will need to select the Air-conditioning Mode you require for the Innobus system to
operate properly.
You may introduce the mode using the Master Innobus thermostat or an external
management system. If you would like information on how to do this using external
management equipment, please refer to the documents relevant to the system in question.
5.1. Operation Modes
Stop
This mode interrupts all of the system’s air-conditioning
equipment.
Ventilation
Activates the ventilator of the air-conditioning system when
there is at least one zone requiring ventilation
(
Set Point
T <
room
T)
.
Cold
Activates the cooling function of the air-conditioning system
when there is at least one zone requiring cooling
(
Set Point
T <
room
T
).
Heating pump
Activates the heating function of the air-conditioning system
when there is at least one zone requiring heating
(
Set Point
T >
room
T) (see Note 1)
.
Radiant Heating
It uses the radiant elements to heat the room, when there is at
least one zone requiring heating (
Set Point
T >
room
T)
(see Note 1)
.
Combined
Heating
It uses the radiant elements and the air-conditioning
equipment in order to heat the rooms when there is at least
one zone requiring heating (
Set Point
T <
room
T)
(see Notes 1 and 2)
.
NOTE 1:
Please note that in rooms where there is only one type of air-conditioning system,
this will be activated in any of the heating modes in order to apply heat to the room.
That is, if a room only has one radiator, this will be activated in any of the heating
modes. A differentiation will be made only in rooms where there are two types of air-
conditioning elements.
NOTE 2:
In the Combined Heating Mode the use of the air-conditioning systems is as follows,
where
Δ
is an increase in the temperature between the radiant elements and the
air-conditioning equipment:
The default increase (
Δ
) is 2ºC although for reasons of design of the system, your installer
might have modified this increase. Please check with your installer the value of the increase
he has set up.
Therefore, if the room temperature of a room is 13ºC and the required temperature is 21ºC,
both systems will be activated. When the room reaches a temperature of 19ºC, the heat
pump air-conditioning system will stop and the radiant elements will remain active.
If
Set Point
T >
room
T +
Δ
The two elements are activated at the same time
If
room
T >
Set Point
T >
room
T +
Δ
Only the radiant heating element will be activated
If
Set Point
T <
room
T
The air-conditioning systems stop
