AP User’s Guide

Update Firmware Through Browser Page

New Firmware Files

Use this section to browse your hard drive or mapped network drives to find the desired new files. After you
enter file names for the firmware to be updated, click 

Browser Update Now

.

New File for System Firmware

New File for Web Pages

New File for Radio Firmware

Action Buttons

Two buttons control settings. If JavaScript is enabled on your web browser, a confirmation popup will
appear after pressing the Browser Update Now button, but not the Cancel button.

Browser Update Now

After entering new values for all settings to be updated, press 

Browser Update Now

 to load and install

the new firmware. When update is complete, the AP will automatically reboot.

Cancel

This button cancels all changes to the settings, returns the settings to the previously stored values and
redirects the user back to the Aironet Services Setup page.
