14 Scanning times
The scanning time is the time required for complete scanning of image data and depends on PSP for-
mat and pixel size.
The time to image depends mainly on the computer system used and its work load. Times stated are
approximate.
For technical reasons, the surface of the largest size of phosphor storage plate (size 2) is always
scanned. As a result, the scan times are the same for all sizes of phosphor storage plate.
