3.1.5. Check during sowing
The following checks should be carried out during sowing after each hectare sown.

Look to check that no seed chute is blocked.

Check that the quantity of seeds coming out of each drill is identical

Manually check the sowing depth over the entire width of the machine

corresponds with the number given
in the metering table
The seed does not run from some
of the drill elements
Tube or hose tilt
Try to reduce bends as far as
possible to facilitate the flow of seed.
Drill units
Check that some of the drill units are
not blocked
Irregular sowing depth
Level of the DOM
The DOM must always work more or
less horizontally
Forward speed
The speed must be between 10 and
12 km/h to ensure regular work
