5 Maintenance and Repair
As well as observing the operating
instructions valid for the machine, it is
equally important to pay due attention to
the following instructions on care and
maintenance.
Larger maintenance and repair tasks may
only be carried out by trained specialists
who can carry out professional mainte-
nance and repair.
You should only undertake smaller
maintenance and repair tasks yourself if
you have the relevant tools and training
for machinery and combustion engines.
Only use genuine Agria spare parts.
Carry out a functional and safety test after
completing the work.
Lubricants and anti-corrosive agents
Use the lubricants specified for engine
and gearbox (see "Technical data").
For "open" lubricating points or nipple lu-
bricating points we recommend
bio lubri-
cating oil or bio lubricating grease (as
specified in the operating instructions).
We recommend using bio-anti-corro-
sive oil to preserve machines and attach-
ments (do not apply on painted covers).
The oil can be brushed or sprayed on.
Bio-lubricants and bio-anti-corrosive
agents are environmentally friendly, as
they are quickly biodegradable.
By using bio-lubricants and bio-slushing
oil you act environmentally responsible,
protecting the environment and promot-
ing the well-being of humans, animals
and plants.
Always switch off the engine before
you start any maintenance or repair
work!
Additionally remove the sparking-plug
connector of a petrol engine!
Wear protective gloves when you work
on the mowing and tilling tools!
When working with oil, fuel and
grease,
wear suitable protective
gloves and use skin care products if
necessary.
Handle hot engine components with
caution!
