Sets or queries the measurement parameter . F or information on selecting measurement
parameters , refer to T able 5-2 .
This command works with the SENSe subsystem. The 4338B measures the DUT's vector
impedance value , using the method specied by the SENSe subsystem. After the measurement,
the scalar measurement parameter is calculated from the vector value , as specied by the
CALClate{1|2}:FORMat command.
The selection decides the measurement parameter displayed by the 4338B and also the data
processed by CALCulate:LIMit , CALCulate:MATH or DATA subsystem commands .
CALCulate1 selects the primary parameter .
CALCulate2 selects the secondary parameter .
REAL real part of impedance
IMAGinary imaginary part of impedance
MLINear absolute value of impedance
PHASe phase of impedance
LS equivalent series inductance

Note
Y ou cannot set CALC1:FORM and CALC2:FORM to combinations not specied in
T able 5-2 .

Denes comparator output to the beeper .
CALCulate1 selects the primary parameter .
CALCulate2 selects the secondary parameter .
FAIL emits a beep when the comparison result is F AIL (High or Low).
PASS emits a beep when the comparison result is P ASS (In).
This command is eective when SYSTem:BEEPer:STATe command is set to ON and
CALCulate{1|2}:LIMit:BEEPer:STATe command is set to ON .
Query response is f FAIL jPASS g .
Note
The comparator output states of both parameters are linked together . So the
CALCulate{1|2}:LIMit:BEEPer command toggles the comparator function of
both parameters PASS or FAIL .
