ASSEMBLY
TOOTH BARS - MAIN FRAME
Slide the tooth bar assemblies under the
Ultra-Mulcher II. (Front assembly has 11 teeth; rear
assembly has 12 teeth.) Remove the four small cast
retainers (41-0069) located in the tooth bar hangers
of the auxiliary frames. Place the cast retainers over
the ends of each tooth bar assembly. Lift up the front
tooth bar and mount the cast retainers into the
appropriate set of holes for the size rollers being
used. Bolt in all retainers across the tooth bars. The
2-1/2” square tooth bar is to be centered on the
frames. Since they are held in place by the spring
tooth mounting brackets, two spring teeth on each
tooth bar may have to be adjusted to facilitate
centering the front tooth bar. Centering of the rear
tooth bar will be similar.
NOTE: Throughout the machine, the retainer (TB)
mates to the tooth bar as shown, (16 places).
