ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Keep clear of parts which may move or
drop when removing shipping straps
or brackets. Use hoists or blocks to
move or support heavy pieces of the
machine.
The terms “right” and “left”, “front” and “rear”, refer to
the machine by facing in the direction of forward
travel.
CENTER FRAMES
Place the transport axle and the front roller gang
assembly in the center of a clear area approximately
35 feet square. On 30” standards, bolt the center
framework together directly over the front gang and
the transport axle. Do not completely tighten
hardware on the 7/8” u-bolts.
TRANSPORT AXLE
Elevate the transport axle into position under the
assembled framework. Note the orientation of the
axle when being installed. Hardware should not be
tightened, as manual rotation may be required
before installing the transport cylinder.
TIRES AND RIMS
If the tires and rims have not already been installed
on the transport axle hubs, this may be a convenient
time to complete their installation. Tires are 8-ply
(min.) 11L-15’s inflated to 32 psi. Hub Bolt Torque:
85-95 ft. lbs.
