MAINTENANCE

REPLACING THE HEPA/ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER

WARNING:

  Cleaning the HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter with water will damage the filter  

and require the purchase of a replacement. 

Depending upon usage and environment, we recommend you change the HEPA/Activated 
Carbon Filter each season but no less than once every 8 months. The unit will keep track of how 

  Open the front panel by pulling it gently forward at the edges

  Carefully remove the washable Pre-Filter and gently vacuum dirt and debris if needed. 

  Remove the HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter and replace with a new HEPA Filter 

(Replacement Part #49892).

  Replace the washable Pre-Filter and snap back into place.

  Replace front panel.

  After the HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter is replaced, press the Filter Timer to reset.

Wipe clean regularly with a moist cloth and mild household detergent. Do not splash water

The water bucket should be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold, mildew and 
bacteria. Clean water bucket with warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before
