WARNING: ALWAYS turn off and unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning.
CLEANING THE WASHABLE PRE-FILTER
Air circulation can be impeded and the efficiency of the dehumidifying and air purifying
functions decrease when the filter is dirty. It is good practice to clean the washable Pre-Filter at
regular intervals. The precise intervals depend on the room in which the unit operates and how
frequently it is used.
• Open the front panel by pulling it gently forward at the top edges
• Carefully remove the washable Pre-Filter
• Lightly tap or vacuum the washable Pre-Filter to remove loose dirt and dust
• Rinse the filter under cool running water
• Dry thoroughly before reinserting and closing the front panel
CAUTION: Do not place washable Pre-Filter on a heat source as the filter may become
deformed. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical solvents to clean the
washable Pre-Filter.
