ON/OFF

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the dehumidifier ON and OFF. The dehumidifier remembers
the last setting and starts in that mode.

MODE

Press the MODE button to change between one of 5 operating modes. The mode changes each
time the button is pressed. An icon will be displayed on the Display Screen showing the current
mode.

NOTE:

See the Display Screen section of this manual for the identification and location of
the MODE icons.

•  Automatic

 – In Automatic Mode, the fan operates continuously and the dehumidifier

automatically turns on and off based on a set point (40% to 70% humidity) of your choosing
(see the “Humidity Set” button).

•  Continuous Dehumidificatio

n – In Continuous Dehumidification Mode, the dehumidifier

operates continuously and the fan automatically switches to either low speed or high speed
based on humidity level in the room; low fan speed for humidity lower than 55%; high fan
speed for humidity higher than 60%. When the humidity is between 55% and 60%, the fan
speed is based on its previous level.

•  Drying

 – In Drying Mode, both the fan and the dehumidifier operate continuously. The fan

operates at high speed to maximize the air flow through the unit. Use this mode to extract
the maximum amount of moisture from the air in the least amount of time.

•  Air Purification

 – In Air Purification Mode, the fan operates continuously and the

dehumidifier is off. This mode only works with a HEPA filter installed in the dehumidifier.
The fan speed can be set to either low or high by pressing the HUMIDITY SET button.

•  Ventilation

 – In Ventilation Mode, the fan operates continuously and the dehumidifier is off.

This mode works with or without a HEPA filter installed in the dehumidifier. The fan speed
can be set to either low or high by pressing the HUMIDITY SET button.

NIGHT MODE

Press the NIGHT Mode button to operate the dehumidifier at its quietest setting. When the
Night Mode button is pressed, the dehumidifier continues to operate in its current setting
but the fan speed drops to its lowest level. The dehumidifier stays in this mode until the Night
mode button is pressed again.

NOTE:

This speed is lower the lowest speed that can be achieved through other manual or

automatic settings.

CLEANING MODE

Starting with the dehumidifier off, press and hold the CLEANING Mode button for 3 seconds to
engage the Cleaning Mode. In this mode, the fan operates on high speed to dry out the inside
of the dehumidifier, and help remove any potential mold or bacteria buildup, and turns off
automatically. Use this mode before placing the dehumidifier in storage. To cancel, press the
Cleaning Mode button for 3 seconds and the unit will go back to its previous operating mode.

LOUVER MODE

This mode sets the movement of the Lover for regulated air flow distribution. Press the LOUVER
Mode button to put the Louver in either:
a)   Continuous sweep mode or
b)   A fixed position
