pulse and the amplitude of the pulse is calibrated to a particle diameter. The particles are thus assigned on
the basis of size to one of eight channels.
5.2.2. Connections
The connections to the optical particle counter are at the bottom of the unit. There is also a LED which turns
red if there is a fault condition. The optical unit also requires an earth wire to be connected between the
housing and the 0VDC line on the power bus. Please check that this is fitted if the unit has been replaced.
5.2.3. Data Outputs
The Profiler can be configured to display and log the measurements detailed in the table below. The sensor
name is that used in the configuration file (see software).
