9. Data collection
The met[LOG) understands the following serial data protocols
•
NMEA (Talker)
•
WIMWV
•
WIMTA
•
WIMMB
•
WIMHU
•
WIXDR (PR)
•
WIXDR (C/H/P)
•
Rain[e] Talker
•
Rain[e] SDI-12 auf RS485
The 4 analogue/digital interfaces can measure the following signals:
Voltage, free scalable e.g.:
o
0…10 V
o
0…5 V
o
0…2.5 V
o
0…1 V
•
Frequencies
o
via an open collector,
0…192 Hz
0…500 Hz
o
active output, level configurable
•
Impulse counter

Via an open collector,
o
Active output, level configurable
o
With activatable precipitation correction for LAMBRECHT rain gauges
•
Status

Active output, level configurable, e.g.:
(logical 0 = 0 V and logical 1 = 5 V)
9.1.
NMEA-protocol
Following LAMBRECHT sensors are using the NMEA-protocol as a talker:
•
EOLOS IND
•
EOLOS MET
•
WENTO IND
•
WENTO MET
•
ARCO NAV
•
ARCO SERIAL
•
THP
9.1.1. Basics NMEA
The NMEA-talker protocol is based on the RS422 interface or rather on the RS485. In talker mode,
both interfaces are electrically similar. Therefore, the LAMBRECHT sensors with RS422-NMEA talker
interface can be easily connected to the met[LOG].
The NMEA structure allows for one talker and several recipients (listeners) for each COM interface. It
is theoretically possible to connect several met[LOG] data in combination with further NMEA listeners
(e.g. the LAMBRECHT MeteoLCD) to a NMEA-talk sensor.
