ONE TOUCH Recording
For simple recording press the
REC(ORD)
button (fi gure 3/21) and
the recording stops automatically after 30 minutes.
Each time the button is pressed again the recording time is exten-
ded by 30 minutes.
Press
the
STOP
button (Fig. 3/22) to cancel the recording.
NOTE:
Please remember: the maximum possible recording time always
depends on the size of the disc and the recording quality.
TIMER Recordings
NOTE:
Before you can make TIMER recordings it is necessary to set the
date and time as described under „System Setup Clock“!
If you would like to control your recordings by means of the timer,
please proceed as follows:
1.
Press the
TIMER
button (Fig. 3/40). An overview table of the
“Recorder Scheduler” is displayed.

With
Cursor buttons
/
(Fig. 3/12, 32) you can select any
desired line.

Press the
SELECT
button (Fig. 3/11) to reach the menu “Item
Editor”.
In this menu please enter the following:
(1) Defi ne the input (the source) from which the recording is to be
made.
(2) Defi ne the recording quality.
(3) Defi ne the recording mode, e.g. once, daily, weekly etc.
(4) Enter the recording date.
(5) Enter the starting time.
(6) Enter the end time.
(7) VPS/PDC support yes or no.

Once you have made all the required entries use the
Cursor
buttons
to select the menu item “OK”, or select the item “Cancel”
if necessary.
You now return to the “Recorder Scheduling” table and are provi-
ded with an overview of all the timer enties.
5.
You can exit from the menu by pressing the
RETURN
button
(Fig. 3/27).
NOTE:
If the DVD recorder is switched on, a reminder window appears 5
minutes before the recording starts in which you can reconfi rm or
cancel the recording.
After the recording the DVD recorder switches automatically to
standby mode.
In standby mode the DVD recorder “wakes up” two minutes
before recording starts.
With
the
STOP
button (Fig. 3/22) you can cancel the recording at
any time.
