Here you will fi nd 8 function and information menus.
The menu is shown on the left and the current operational status on
the right. The arrows indicate the direction keys with which the indivi-
dual submenus can be selected. With the
SELECT
key (Fig. 3/11) it is
possible to activate the selected function.
Mode
(1): In the “Mode” menu it is possible to choose between the
operating modes “Normal” “A-B Repeat”, “Chapter Repeat”, “Title
Repeat” or “Disk Repeat”.
Trick Mode
(2): Here it is possible to switch on the video functions
Playback, Stop, PreStop, Pause and the time lapse and slow
motion functions that are possible.
Titles
(3): The menu shows the current and all the titles. If the
SELECT
key is pressed (Fig. 3/11), the display changes to two
horizontal bars. It is now possible to put in the title numbers (two
fi gures maximum). If the
SELECT
key is now pressed (Fig. 3/11),
playback changes to the desired title.
Chapters
(4): In this menu it is possible to directly select a chap-
ter. Operation is identical to the title menu.
Audio
(5): If different audio languages have been recorded on the
DVD, these can be selected here. The current language is shown
on the left and the number of languages recorded on the DVD on
the right.
Subtitles
(6): If subtitles have been recorded on the DVD, the
various subtitle languages can be selected here. The current lan-
guage is shown on the left and the number of languages recorded
on the DVD on the right.
Angle
(7): In this menu the current camera angle and the possible
camera perspectives are shown.
Time
(8): Here you can fi nd information on the length of playback
and the remaining playing time.
The default setting is the length of the current title that has been
played back so far (T-Time). You can call up the submenu in order
to show the chapter time (C-Time).
The display is shown in hours, minutes and seconds.

PLAY
-button (Fig. 3/43) on the remote control.
NOTE:
If the replay does not start or the replay is of poor quality, you should
check the default settings of the DVD recorder.

PAUSE/STEP
-button (Fig. 3/44) on the remote control.
The replay is interrupted, the currently visible image is „frozen“.
2.
Press the
PLAY
-button (Fig. 3/43) on the remote control to restart
the „normal“ replay.
