A-B (Section) Repeat
During playback press the A-B button to fi x the starting
point. At the desired end point press the A-B button
again. Press the A-B button a third time to start repeat
playback of the section. With the STOP button the
repeat playback is stopped.
Note: This function is not available for all DVDs or MP3
CDs.
Deleting Input
With some programmes or search options it is necessary
to enter fi gures. If you make a mistake while doing so,
the input can be deleted with the CLEAR button.
Camera Perspective / Synchronised Language
During the playback of multi-angle DVDs, press the
ANGLE button to show the current scene from a different
camera perspective. With the AUDIO button you can
alternate during playback between the synchronised
languages on the DVD.
Programme Mode
Press the PROG button to call up the programme menu.
In total you can program the order of playback of 20
tracks (CD) or chapters (DVD). Select the desired track
or the desired chapter using the number buttons. In the
case of a DVD the title numbers have to be entered in
front of the colon and the chapter numbers behind it.
Inappropriate entries are simply ignored by the player.
Move the cursor with the downward arrow button to the
second position. Now enter the next track or chapter.
Proceed as described above. If you make a mistake you
can delete the entry with the CLEAR button. Then select
the EXIT option and press the SELECT button. Move
the cursor to the START option to start the programmed
playback. If you would like to discontinue playback, mark
the STOP option and press the SELECT button in order
to confi rm the input. If you would like to discontinue
programming, press the PROGRAM button. The player
will then change back to the normal playback mode.
Note: This function is not available for all disks.
Bookmark
With the MARK button you can mark selected locations
on a DVD. Press the MARK button during playback as
soon as the desired location has been reached. Then set
the number of the selected bookmark in the menu (using
the vertical arrow buttons) and confi rm the input with the
SELECT button. Press the MARK or SELECT buttons
again in order to close the menu.
In order to return to the marked position, press the
MARK button, select the desired bookmark with the
arrow buttons and confi rm your selection.
There are a total of twelve bookmarks available. Any
bookmarks which you no longer require can be deleted
with the CLEAR button. To do so, call up the bookmark
menu, mark the bookmark to be deleted and press the
CLEAR button.
Search
DVD:
If you press the SEARCH button
during playback, the search menu
appears with the options TITLE,
CHAPTER, SOUND, SUBTITLES,
ANGLE, TITLE TIME, CHAPTER
TIME, REPEAT PLAYBACK and
DISPLAY TIME. Select the desired
option and confi rm your selection
with the SELECT button.
MP3, WMA:
Press the SEARCH button, select
the desired track and confi rm your
selection with SELECT.
CD, HDCD, DTS-CD: Press the SEARCH button
and select the desired option
(SEARCHING TRACK, DISC TIME,
TRACK TIME). After you have
confi rmed your selection with the
SELECT button, the player starts
playing back the track or chapter.
Note: This function is not available for JPEG disks.
Title
During DVD playback press the TITLE button. A list ap-
pears with all titles that are available on the disc. Select
the desired title with the arrow or number buttons and
confi rm your selection with SELECT.
Setup
With the SETUP button you can call up the extensive
setup options. Select the desired setting with the arrow
buttons and confi rm your selection with SELECT.
Zoom / Individual Picture
During playback press the ZOOM button in order to en-
large or reduce the size of the current picture. Each time
the button is pressed the zoom factor is changed (2x, 3x,
4x, 1/2x, 1/3x, 1/4x). If the button is pressed seven times
the player returns to the normal view.
Note: This function is not available for all disks. For
some disks the only options that are available are 1x
and 2x.
Title Display (Menu Selection)
DVD: Press the MENU button during playback in order to
call up a list of menu options (the contents of the list de-
pend on the disc). With the arrow buttons you can now
mark the desired option. Then confi rm your selection
with the SELECT button.
Note: Some disks do not support this function. In this
case the player starts playback again.
Subtitles
During playback press the SUBTITLE button. The word
SUBTITLE [1] appears on the screen. At the same time the
subtitles are shown in the corresponding language. If the
SUBTITLE button is pressed again, the word SUBTITLE
[2] appears and the subtitles are shown in a different
language. The SUBTITLE button can be pressed several
times until the subtitles appear in the desired language.
Select the option SUBTITLE: [OFF] to switch off the subtit-
les again. Note: this function is only available for DVDs on
which subtitles are stored in several languages.
