Programming Examples
The Custom installation option allows you to install example pro-
grams (with source code) that access capabilities of the "Touchscreen
Driver for Windows 95" driver and Touchscreen Control Panel.
These programs are installed in the C:\Elo directory (default).
Calib.exe is an example of how to call the exported function
CalibrateScreen() in the Touchscreen Control Panel (Monmouse.cpl).
This allows you to calibrate the touchscreen directly from your applica-
tion without having to run the Touchscreen Control Panel.
Zaxis.exe is an example of how to access the IntelliTouch Z-axis capabil-
ities. The program uses a custom meter control, which reports the amount
of pressure applied to a button on the screen (0 ~ 100%).
Using the touchscreen on serial port COM4:
1.
Make sure that the serial touchscreen controller is connected to serial
port COM4.
2.

Choose the appropriate serial touchscreen controller on COM4 when
running Setup, to allow for a complete driver installation.
3.
Run the Windows 95 Registry Editor by clicking the Start button.
Click Run, then type “regedit” and press Enter. (c:\windows\regedit")
