2. No matter which Frame type is to be used, it is important to specify
the frame type in the file called AUTOEXEC.NCF at the server
console. (see the underlined parts in the following example)

Note: 1994 and 1994A are the IDs of the net. 1991-1 is a logical
name to distinguish the board binds of different frame
types. They are all user defined.
3. For the Frame types Ethernet_802.2, Etherent_II and Ethernet_SNP
the image file names have their own unique extension parts listed
in the “BOOTCONF.SYS” file. These are xxx.2, xxx.II and
xxx.SNP respectively. For the frame type Ethernet_802.3, it
is necessary to follow the booting procedures for the
Quick Boot ROM.
4. For the NetWare versions v3.12/4.01 and the RPL Boot ROM, the
default frame type is Ethernet_802.2.
5. In the DOS service file for MS-DOS6.2, the files must be the of
following date and version types (or later). These can be download
ed from the Novell Network Support Encyclopedia
"DOSUP9.EXE" (a compressed file). Your Novell dealer will
provide you with these.
