Wiring

When connecting your network you must ensure the correct wiring
and termination methods are employed.

BNC connections

The PCL-843 has a BNC connector, as shown below. To connect to a
thin Ethernet cable you must use a BNC T-connector. If you are
installing a workstation at the end of the Ethernet cable you will also
need a 50

Ω

terminator to ensure the line retains it's impedance

characteristics.
