Repeat step 7 to tighten all screws a second time

Connect the RF input source to the input of the RF input splitter, see See

at page 13.

Connect the AC power source to the AC connector (J5) of each amplifier. Refer to
at page 22.

Connect the Discrete Interface (J3) of each amplifier to the remote discrete operations control
panel. Refer to
at page 19 for pin assignments and
schematic of a suggested circuit for a suitable remote control panel. If this interface is not
intended to be used, connect pins 8 and 15 on the mating connector provided for (J3) of each
unit.

Connect the Serial Interface (J2) of each amplifier to the serial RS232 port of a PC, using a
split serial cable and an RS485/RS232 adapter. Refer to
assignments and
at page 28 for information regarding the connection to the
adapter.

NOTE:
The rotating speed of cooling fans is temperature dependent.
