High-Pressure Lamps
The high-pressure lamps in the facials must be replaced,
whenever the useful lamp life as recommended by
manufacturer has run out. Or if lamp becomes defective.

The facials contain three high-pressure lamps.
When replacing high-pressure lamps always
use lamps of the same or compatible type. For
technical lamp data, see references on the type
label.
Disassembly

Make sure that the mains disconnection switch cuts off the
unit from the mains supply and that it is secured with lock
and key against accidential re-activation of power supply.
 Disassemble the filter frames as described on page 33.
 Loosen the two screws at the facial compartment.

Lift the facial slightly upward, so that you can unlock the
two lower brackets.

Put the facial onto the sunbed bench..
 Disconnect the terminals “N“ and “LP“ and pull out the
litz wires and the blue neutral conductor.
 Pull the high-pressure lamp downward out of the holder.
 Pull out the litz wires with the high-pressure lamp out of
the lamp compartment.
CAUTION!
Never dispose of high—pressure
lamps with regular domestic
waste. Dispose of lamps in
an environmentally safe
way according to applicable
local/national standards and
regulations.
 Dispose of defective or used up lamps.
Assembly
 Put the new high-presure lamp into the holder.
 Feed the litz wires backwards out of lamp compartment.

Connect one litz wire to the terminal marked as “LP“ .
 Connect the other litz wire and the blue neutral conductor
to the terminal marked as “N“.
 Lift the facial compartment into the top so that the
brackets can click in.
 Tilt the facial compartment upwards.

Fasten with two screws.
 Assemble the facial filter as described on page 33.
