3. To trace a transmission, in the
Traceroute
section:
a. Enter an IP address or host name in the
IP/Hostname
field (such as 192.168.1.44).
b. Click the
Start
button in this section. The
TRACE RESULTS
appear.
Event Log
On this page, you can view the event log (system log) and configure how the log entries are displayed.
1. In the left menu, click
Admin
>
Event Log
. The following page appears.
2. To filter the displayed messages:
a. Click the
Search log messages
button at top right. The Search log messages dialog box appears.
b. Enter a search string and click
Search
. The
Clear search
button appears next to the
Search log messages
button. The
list refreshes to show the matching entries.
3. To clear the current filter, click the
Clear search
button near the upper right corner of the screen.
4. To configure log settings, follow the "Configuring Log Settings" instructions below.
As new entries are added to the event log file, the list refreshes to display them.
