V.35 O

PTIONS

menu (see Figure 6-5) is used to select the configu-

ration parameters that control the operation of the DTE interface port
of the ISU 512e.

V.35 Options/Maximum Bit Rate

This field sets the maximum bit rate at which the V.35 operates. There
are eight multiples of 64K (64K through 512K) and eight multiples of
56K (56K through 448K). Selecting a 64K rate changes the

Selecting

causes the CTS signal on the DTE connector to

be continually asserted.

follow the state of the CD lead.

V.25 ANSR

drives CTS off while

answering a call with V.25 bis dialing enabled. This setting is used for
Panasonic video-conferencing equipment with V.25 bis dialing en-
abled.
