configuration parameters control the loop opera-
tion of the DSU III ARdc.
Once a parameter is set,

is displayed briefly before
returning to the active menu.
Loop Rate
The L
OOP
R
ATE
option sets the loop operating speed. The unit should be
set to the rate required by the DDS service. The DSU III ARdc also sup-
ports subrate DTE data over a 56 kbps or 64 kbps loop. The loop rate must
be set independently of the DTE rate. Eight loop rate selections are avail-
able (shown in Figure 5-1 on page 5-2).
