4. Contact AlarmNet (TAC) to Register 7845CZ
NOTE: Programmerless registration CANNOT be performed on replacement
radios. A 7720P Programming Tool is necessary. Refer to Section 5 to replace a
radio.
•
Call the AlarmNet Technical Center (1-800-222-6525) to walk through the registration
process.
•
Have the following information ready BEFORE calling by filling in the table below:
The radio’s MIN located on the barcode label on the radio module.
The subscriber number (as provided by the central station). This number should include a 2-digit city
number, a 2-digit central station number, and a 4-digit subscriber ID.
The time zone in which the radio is to be installed.

The AlarmNet personnel will first determine if the subscriber number provided is valid.
If the number is not valid, the central station must provide a new number.
•
If the number is valid, the registration process can be initiated by “triple-clicking” the
tamper switch. The AlarmNet personnel will walk through the LED progression as
shown below.

When the green LED goes out, the radio is registered and alarm traffic will be sent to the
central station.
5. Complete the Installation
•
Mount the radio (refer to “Mounting and Wiring”).
•
Wire to the control panel (refer to “Mounting and Wiring”) and test all signals.
•
Test the installation (refer to the “Testing the Installation” paragraph in Section 4).
