3.4.5 Rotary mechanism
The rotary mechanism consists of an electric motor (position 5 see Figure 3.10), the
torque of which is transmitted through the coupling using a belt (position 4 see Figure 3.10) to
the lower rotary unit (position 3 see Figure 3.10). The lower unit, moving along the guide on the
framework base plate, moves the rotary frame by a predetermined angle. For smoother move-
ment of the rotary frame, the torque is transmitted from the lower rotary unit to the upper (posi-
tion 1 see Figure 3.10) through the shaft (position 2 see Figure 3.10). Guides are installed on
the top cover of the framework. To prevent impact of the rotary frame on the System frame at
the extreme points, the end sensor system is installed on the rails.
