When the DVR first starts up, there may be a period of time (about 30 seconds) when the DVR
displays a blank screen. This is normal

Check to make sure the monitor is on and powered up, and the video cables are securely
connected

Check to make sure the cable connecting your monitor or TV to your DVR is not faulty, faulty
cables with bad connections can cause distorted images.

If you made your own cables, check to make sure you did not reverse the video polarity

Make sure you cameras are properly powered, as underpowered or overpowered camera(s)
can cause image distortion across multiple cameras.
•
Make sure your DVR is properly grounded, as this may cause interference issues.
