CAUTION
The ACE technology protects against overexposures, not underexposures. If the exposure time selected by the operator is not relevant for
the diagnostic examination being performed, the system will not correct any missing imaging information arising from incorrect irradiation
times or technique factors used. Before taking any x-ray exposure the operator has the full responsibility to check that the irradiation time
and all other selected technique factors as well as instructions for use as described in the official accompanying documents are correct for
the diagnostic examination being performed.
PLEASE NOTE
The Nominal Shortest Irradiation Time with ACE enabled is 0.03 s
5.10.2. HOW TO USE THE X-MIND UNITY WITH SOPIX/SOPIX2 INSIDE & ACE TECHNOLOGY
CAUTION
The operator must always verify communication between Sopix/Sopix² Inside and X-Mind unity by making sure the «ACE» logo on the control
unit displays is illuminatedthe “ACE” logo on the control unit display, before each acquisition.
CAUTION
The operator must set up the appropriate exposure times according to the type of examination.

Please perform the exposure using an activated x-ray sensor to transfer the images properly.

Do not connect an extension USB cable to the USB cable exiting from the X-MIND unity.

When using the Sopix family of sensors, strictly follow the instructions found in the accompanying documents supplied by Sopro . These are
specific only to Sopro Imaging software and Sopix/Sopix2 Inside, both made by Sopro-Acteon Group.
To activate and use the ACE mode on the X-MIND unity please follow the instructions below:
1. Install and connect “Sopix Inside” or “Sopix2 Inside” to the X-MIND unity system (refer to Sopix Inside or Sopix2 Inside installation
manual and X-MIND unity Installation and Maintenance Manual).
