Power supply connector connects the CD-ROM drive to the computer’s power
supply

Interface connector connects the CD-ROM drive to the 40-pin interface cable

Device configuration jumper. The CD-ROM drive is configured as a master drive,
so a jumper is installed on “MA”. To change the setting to slave, remove this jumper.

Operating the CD-ROM Drive
A.4.1 Starting the Drive
1.
Press the Eject button. The tray is ejected from the drive.
2.
Place the disc in the tray with the disc label side facing up.
3.
Press the Eject button or press the tray panel lightly to close the tray.
The drive must be in a horizontal
position during operation. Do not
operate this drive in a vertical position.
4.
Press the Audio Play/Skip track control button to play or skip one track of Audio
CD without executing application software.
