a few basic steps. These steps will be described later in this chapter.

The redundant function of the controllers can be enabled on the  front panel or a
terminal interface. The following describe the procedures when using the front
panel. Similar menus and messages are displayed when using the terminal
interface. The same result can be achieved regardless of the method used.

Connecting an RS-232C cable when using the terminal interface is highly
recommended but is not essential for the redundant controller’s functionality.
