You may now use the 

UP

 and 

DOWN

 arrow keys to adjust the count. If you depress the 

DOWN

 arrow key twice the count will change to 0002 then -0002. When you have set 

the count to the desired value, use the green 

DO

 key to return to 

Ready-to-Average 

or

 

Ready-to-Measure.

 

 

The third item on the Average branch of the Instrument Menu Tree is 

Average Off. 

Average On 

and

 Average Off 

are used to select 

Ready-to-Average 

and

 Ready-to-

Measure

 respectively. You may select averaging on or off without changing average 

count.
