3.3.2 Confirming the pad alignment result
With "Stop after Needle Align" on [Operation Settings] screen to <Stop>, after the finish of the
low and high magnification pad alignment processes (or at the completion of manual probe tip
teaching), the display shows the individual registered/selected pad positions and sizes and
corresponding probe tip images, allowing you to confirm the pad alignment result.

Position (Z); DZ: + - upward
As shown left, the low magnification confirmation
screen indicates each registered pad with a circular
mark and the corresponding probe tip image. Pad
No. 1 closest to the die lower left corner of the die
appears in the center of the screen, accompanied
with the cross mark.
Pushing <Next Pad> button will bring the next pad
into the screen center with the cross mark also put
on it. To see a wanted pad/probe tip not shown
initially, call it up with <Next Pad> button.
The data indicated in the upper left mean:
Site No.
: Site of the pad in the screen center
Pad No.
: Screen center pad No.
Position (X) : Central probe tip X position
Position (Y) : Central probe tip Y position
Position (Z) : Central probe tip height
Check result : Judgment on the central probe
Mode
: Selection method of indicated probe
tips
Position (X) and Position (Y) are the distances of
the probe tip existing in the screen center from the
corresponding pad center; rightward and upward
are plus as shown left.
Position (Z) becomes plus value when the central
probe tip displaces upward in reference to the
average tip height of the target probe tips.
