Tolerant Error of Needle Position (from Pad
Edge)
In the calculation of the pad alignment results, if
any probe tip is found existing in the NG width
from its pad edge, Prober will alarm-stop. See the
illustration shown at left. (With ‘0’ entered, no
check for the tip position.)
µm: 1 ~ 100
Tolerant Error of Needle Position (from Pad
Center)
In the calculation of the pad alignment results, if
any probe tip is found existing outside the OK
range radius from its pad center, Prober will
alarm-stop. See the illustration shown at left.
This parameter can be set independently of the
above “Tolerant Error of Needle Position (from
Pad Edge)”. (With ‘0’ entered, no check for the tip
position.)
Tolerant Error of Needle Tip Focus Posi.
The allowance of probe height variation for the
measurements by Auto-focusing. If the variation
for a card has exceeded this allowance, Prober
will alarm-stop. (With ‘0’ entered, no check for the
tip height.)
µm: 1 ~ 100
Tolerant To Missing Needles
Allowable percentage of probes whose tips were
not detected in the high mag. view against the
whole target probes. Supposing that the number
of probe tips to be detected is ‘100’, when the
value is set at 20%, the result becomes OK for 20
probe tips or less, and NG for 21 probe tips or
more.
Low MAG. Lighting
For selecting the illumination type to be used in
the low mag. view of probe tips. (Setting of a
suitable lighting may reduce the chance of
detection error in the low magnification view.)
Low MAG. Brightness
Following the selection of an illumination type in
the low mag. view, set its brightness to an
appropriate fixed level or to “Auto Brightness
Setting”.
Needle Alignment Algorithm
Keep this to “Standard”.
