Welding parameter
The visibility of the arc reduces the need for the welder to strictly observe the adjustment table, because he has the ability to
directly control the molten bath.
• The voltage has a direct impact on the appearance of the welding seam. However, the dimensions of the welded
surface can be varied, as needed, by moving the torch manually so that different types of deposits are achieved under
constant voltage.
• The wire feeder speed is proportional to the welding current.
Figures 15 and 16 show the ratio between the various welding parameters.
Figure 16 shows the ratio of wire feeder speed to current (melting conditions) relative to the wire diameter.
