to save changes and exit setup.
1
Reset
to reset all parameters and standard values.
2
Synergy
allows you to choose between a manual
or synergic
MIG process.
For this, the material to be welded is set.
13.4 Synergy parameters on page EN-31
3
Wire speed
for setting the wire feeder speed.
Min: 0.5 m/min.; Max.: 22 m/min.
4
Power supply
for setting the welding current.
Min.: 6 A; Max.: Imax
5
Workpiece thickness
for setting the material thickness of the workpiece.
6
Fillet weld
for setting the depth of the seam in a corner joint.
7
Arc length
for setting the arc length while welding.
Min.: –5.0; Max.: +5.0, Standard: syn
10
Gas pre-flow
for setting and regulating the gas flow prior to arc ignition. Supplies gas to
the torch. Parameters are entered in seconds.
Min.: Off, Max.: 25 sec., Standard: 0.1 sec.
11
Soft start
for setting the wire feeder speed for the phases that precede arc ignition.
Parameters are entered in % of the set wire feeder speed. This procedure makes it possible
to ignite the arc when the speed is reduced, which results in a softer ignition with less spatter.
Min.: 10%, Max.: 100%, Standard: 50%
15
Burn-back
controls the burn-back time and prevents welding ends from sticking.
Furthermore, the length of the wire end extending from the torch can be specified.
Min.: −2.00; Max.: +2.00, Standard: syn
16
Gas post-flow
for setting and regulating the gas flow for welding ends. Parameters are
entered in seconds.
Min.: Off, Max.: 10 sec., Standard: 2 sec.
20
Double pulse
for setting the pulse amplitude. Parameters are entered in %.
Min.: 0%, Max.: 100%, Standard: ±25%
21
Pulse frequency
for regulating the pulse frequency.
Parameters are entered in Hz.
Min.: 0.1 Hz, Max.: 5.0 Hz, Standard: 2.0 Hz
