9. Make sure that the red mark (4) on the brake disc
aligns with the red mark on the brake pad.
If it does not stop with the red lines (4) aligned,
then refer to the maintenance guide

10. Do a check of the electrical end-stops:
1. Operate the tap-changer electrically to one end-stop.
It should not be possible to electrically operate the tap-changer against the mechanical end-stop.
2. Operate the tap-changer electrically to the other end-stop.
It should not be possible to electrically operate the tap-changer against the mechanical end-stop.
11. Do a check of the mechanical end-stops:
1. Operate the tap-changer manually to one end-stop.
The tap-changer should stop at the mechanical end-stop.
2. Operate the tap-changer manually to the other end-stop.
The tap-changer should stop at the mechanical end-stop.
NOTE!
After a couple of turns of the hand crank, the tap-changer should reach the mechanical
end-stop.
12. Make sure that all tests have been completed, and that the end-stops are functional.
CAUTION!
Do not energize the transformer with an end-stop that is not functional. Catastrophic failure
of the transformer can occur.
13. The installation of the tap-changer is complete and the transformer is ready for testing.
