4.4 Connection of conductors to the terminals
Procedure
1. Connect all conductors (2) to the tap-changer
terminals. Refer to the connection diagram.
CAUTION!
Make sure that there is no tension in
the conductors (2).
If the conductors (2) are in tension at
installation, they will cause the
terminals on the tap-changer to break
when the transformer is in operation.

Make sure that there is a distance of more than
50 mm between the conductors (2) and the
cylinder (1).

3. Install the conductors with the shielding caps:
1. Install the bolt, washers and nut. Put the
large washer (4) under the small washer (3).
2. Close the lid on the shielding cap.
CAUTION!
Replace the shielding cap when it has
been opened 3 times.
