The protection relay is connected to the fibre-
optic data bus via a bus connection module type
SPA-ZC 17 or SPA-ZC 21 that is fitted to the D
connector on the rear panel of the relay. The
optical fibres are connected to the counter con-
tacts Rx and Tx of the module. The selector
switches of the bus connection module are set to
the position "SPA".
