3. Select the Type from the drop-down list. Digital Input (Voltage) is the default.
4. Configure each Digital I/O port as appropriate:
a. For digital input mode, select the low and high threshold voltage.
b. For digital output mode, select the current value and the initial value.
5. Click
Send
.
8.5 Pulse input configuration
Each pulse input has a debounce filter. Without debounce, the PI operates at a
frequency range of 0 to 20 kHz. With debounce, the frequency range is 0 to 100 Hz.
To configure the pulse input:
1. Select
I/O System
on the navigation tree.
2. Select
the
Pulse Inputs
tab (Figure 26).

3. Go to the Debounce area of the screen.
4. Select On if debounce is required. Set this for each PI port if debounce is
needed.
5. Click
Send
