140 Cooling and heating
Note:
If the converter temperature goes again below 10 °C inside any converter cubicle,
the converter restarts the heating procedure again and the normal start can continue only
after the temperature is on sufficient level. See section
page
.
When relay K18.3 has been energized in the cold start procedure described above, the
converter gives the heating and starting the pump requests to the liquid cooling unit when
the cubicle temperature decreases below 10 °C. Heating request of the converter cabinet
is wired to XDI:7 on the BCU control unit of the grid-side converter. If XDI:7 becomes “1”,
some parts of the converter cabinet are not warm enough. In this case the customer needs
to switch on the warming of the cooling liquid and the pump of the external liquid cooling
unit. When the temperature rises above 10 °C, the converter disconnects the heating
request.
