9.2.6 Sleep function (turn-off time)

By switching on the sleep function the device is automatically switched off after a preset time.
This function can only be called up when the radio is switched on.
The switching time of the switching function is adjusted in the settings, see chapter 9.3.31
“Menu "Settings" - "Sleep timer" (switch-off time)“ on page 85.
Use the following steps to activate or deactivate the sleep function:
Activating the sleep function
1. Press the "ON / OFF" button [1] for at least 2 seconds while the radio is switched on.
– The sleep function is switched on.
– The "Stopwatch" icon [2] appears in the display.
– The radio switches itself off automatically after the preset time.
– For setting switching time, see chapter 9.3.31 “Menu "Settings" - "Sleep timer"
(switch-off time)“ on page 85.
Deactivating the sleep function
Way 1
1 Switch the radio off and on again.
– The sleep function is deactivated.
– The "Stopwatch" icon goes out on the display.
Way 2
1. Press the "ON / OFF" button [1] for at least 2 seconds while the sleep function is active.
– The sleep function is deactivated.
– The "Stopwatch" icon [2] goes out on the display.
