Fingerprint Reader
The biometric fingerprint reader efficiently identifies users and makes Hot Desking from any BluStar 8000i device an
effortless task. A BluStar 8000i terminal can have up to five registered users. If someone wants to use the fingerprint reader
to login to a terminal with more than five registered users, then they have to first delete a user on the fingerprint screen in
order to add their fingerprint.
The first time you login to the BluStar 8000i you can assign a fingerprint to your account. On the fingerprint screen, you
have to login using your username and password to add a new fingerprint.
Once you have registered your fingerprint, when you open the fingerprint screen you will see that you have a fingerprint
already registered to your account.
You can select the
view users
button to see how many other users have a saved fingerprint on the terminal.
